Mamoon is a General Partner at The Social+Capital Partnership (Social+Capital), a Venture Capital firm based in Palo Alto. Mamoon has been an early investor and board member for some of the most disruptive and fastest growing SaaS companies like Box, Yammer, Castlight Health, Wave, Cloudon and Act-On Software. He was also an early advisor at Yelp.
Prior to Social+Capital, Mamoon was a Partner at U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), where he spent six years. Mamoon started his Silicon Valley career at Xilinx where he spent six years in various engineering and marketing roles.
Mamoon holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, an MS from Stanford University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
