Ian is a native Montrealer with entrepreneurial experience in Silicon Valley and Montreal. He’s a startup advisor, mentor and investor, and today works on growth and optimization of True Key, Intel’s online identity solution, and is a Co-Founder of Montreal In Technology, the online platform for Montreal’s Startup and Tech news.
Previously Ian was VP of Product Marketing at PasswordBox when it was acquired by Intel in 2014 and co-founded FounderFuel, the first Canadian mentor-driven startup accelerator, in 2011. After the acquisition of Radar, the first mobile photo-sharing social network he helped launch in 2006, by Shutterfly in 2009, Ian launched Wink, a mobile app to create photobooth-style prints directly from an iPhone.
Ian started out in 2002 as half of the two-man team behind Nomad, Canada’s first Street Intelligence Agency and was Co-Founder of Tistik, a Montreal-based events company.
