Justin is the Chief Strategy Officer of Uplight, where he leads corporate strategy, M&A, partnerships, marketing, and regulatory affairs. Justin is passionate about accelerating a clean energy future by motivating and enabling a new technology-driven connection for energy users and providers.

Justin has been an entrepreneurial leader at the intersection of energy, community development, and public-private partnerships for over 15 years. In addition to co-founding and serving as President of Simple Energy, Justin drove the initiative to certify the company as B-Corporation. Prior to Simple Energy, Justin served as Vice President of Resource Development for Renewable Choice Energy. Justin graduated cum laude from Duke University, where he spearheaded the university’s path to leadership in sustainability. When not pursuing his purpose-driven work, you can find him spending time with his wife, daughter, and son and exploring the great outdoors.
