Montreal
Canada’s Culture Capital
Nothing quite compares to Montreal in the summer; it is the absolute best time of the year to visit as the city comes alive with special events and festivals. This year we’re running in parallel with multiple festivals in and around Montreal including: International Festival of Circus Arts, Nuits d’Afrique and the International Tango Festival. Extend your trip a few days to attend two of Montreal’s most popular festivals: Montreal’s International Jazz Festival and Just for Laughs.
While you are soaking up the startup vibe, your family can spend the day wandering through any of the city’s beautiful neighbourhoods, hiking Mount Royal for a panoramic view of the city, lounging on the beach at Parc-Jean Drapeau or indulge in Montreal’s many acclaimed restaurants. There is lots to do with kids as well, visiting the Insectarium or the Biodome, or riding rollercoasters at La Ronde.
